Every resident has the right to live as independently as they can. Our community services division is the pinnacle of independence at McCall’s. Living in the community, our residents experience the freedom — and responsibilities — that comes with your own home.

This is how McCall’s began and is the foundation of who we are, what we do, and those we serve. A congregate living arrangement — almost dorm-like — allows our residents to grow and learn to interact with others, while focused on Activities of Daily Living.

Live. Play. Work. Our residents — both in the community and at the ICF — have a chance to earn wages while honing their vocational skills. State contracts to retail store environment to grounds & maintenance, our clients are supported by job coaches in every role.

Our daily priorities are allowing our residents to be happy, healthy and independent. “Healthy” is a prerequisite to being happy and independent and our dedicated nursing staff work with our Medical Director, PCP, licensed nurses, nursing aides and CMAs to provide top-level care for every resident.

We are serious about having fun! Our activities team — and our entire staff, really — find myriad ways for our residents to stay involved. Shopping, dining, movies, Special Olympics, rodeos, trips — you name it — our residents are given the opportunities to be active and involved.
